Photop Technologies, Inc., a key component supplier and leading manufacturer of Fiber Optics Communications, Projection & Display, and Photonics products, recently announced it's all manufacturing facilities are now certified to the OHSAS 18001 standard.

An Occupational Health & Safety Management System (OHSAS) is a framework that allows an organization to consistently identify and control its health and safety risks, reduce the potential for accidents, aid legislative compliance and improve overall performance.

Photop has already been certified for ISO 14001 early this year, which is a global standard that sets the framework for environmental management systems.
