Photop Technologies, Inc., today announced it received the Superior Supplier Award of the Supplier Total Value Process from Corning Incorporated.

Corning presented the award to Photop in recognition of its customer centric approach to providing consistent and superior quality products, excellent customer service, and great contribution to the success of new products.

Corning’s Procurement and Transportation function utilizes three (3) different supplier management processes. The process utilized for suppliers with a key and critical value to Corning is known as the Supplier Total Value Process (STVP). STVP is focused on developing the customer - supplier relationship via emphasis on continuous improvement and increased value delivered to Corning.

The award of Superior Supplier status is based upon the results achieved in STVP and is recognition that a supplier has exceeded Corning’s requirements for the past year.
